All current accounting courses will errantly tell you that Debits and Credits "are" accounting. In fact, they are not. In this software you don't enter them. Your data is converted into data with debits and credits on the backend, BUT there is a switch in the software to turn off that functionality completely so you can see for yourself what they do and don't contribute to in an accounting system.
